MONASH MAKER FAIRE

On the 4th of December, Monash High Powered Rocketry participated in the Monash Maker Faire, joining our fellow student teams and many other makers. The Maker Faire was hosted by the Monash Tech School, The City of Monash and Monash University.

We ran a paper rocket workshop for the Maker Faire attendees, who got the opportunity to make, create and see their creations launched into the sky. There were many different rockets being made, with many adorning their rockets with different stickers, drawings and fins. Additionally, we had Project Aether on display, where many got to see what one of our competition rockets looked like.

The entire Maker Faire saw over 3500 attendees, with many stopping by our paper rocket workshop to discover what rocketry is, and how they can get involved. We would like to thank Monash University, Monash Tech School and The City of Monash for organising the Maker Faire, and allowing us to put so many smiles on the faces of those that attended.
